I’m referring to UCF’s core business courses that are required for all business related majors. Are they tougher courses? At most other universities, they’re only worth three credits.

I think you are referring to:
-> FIN 3403C
-> MAN 3025
-> MAR 3023

When I took MAR 3023 last semester, I was told that you will have 3 Hours in the Classroom and at least 1 Hour of Homework a week to supplement the 4 Credit Hour requirement. I think they are about the same as other Universities; however, they are weighted more as in being a 4 Credit Hour course instead of 3. You’ll likely have a lot more Homework in this class than at the other Universities. So, if you were to take it at another school and try and transfer it to UCF, you’ll probably have to pick an extra course or so to pick up the shortfall in the Credit. Sorry I don’t know the “Exact” answer, but that’s what I was told from last semester.

There is usually some kind of supplemental instruction, discussion or recitation attached to these classes where a t.a. will go over the information that was presented in class.
