Why can't I improve in math?

<p>January SAT scores:
Reading: 710
Math: 680
Writing: 750</p>

<p>March SAT scores:
Reading: 720
Math: 670
Writing: 780</p>

<p>The first SAT I took I prepped a bit but I didn’t think I did enough. In my practice book there were still a lot of higher level questions I couldn’t do and when I went in I was planning to take another one. This time I prepped really hard, I got a tutor, I worked so hard because I know I’m terrible at math, I nearly failed precal this semester. But somehow I can’t improve. :frowning: I just want to be in that 700s range! Any tips? Would it look bad if I take the SAT 3 times?</p>

<p>it looks like you could have made some silly mistakes. I don’t really see the harm in taking the SAT a third time, as long as you improve your score.</p>
