why chicago short

Question 1. How does the University of Chicago, as you know it now, satisfy your desire for a particular kind of learning, community, and future? Please address with some specificity your own wishes and how they relate to Chicago.

do we have to touch on all 3 categories: “learning, community, and future” or can I just talk about 1?
Are we suppose to brag about the amazing programs Chicago have or something?
(btw, I’m applying to chicago for econ and math … all I can think of is to say that they have top departments in these areas)

i talked about all three, i think this question is an important one, much more important than the other short answer

I talked about all three as well. I did a LOT of research for that question, I suggest talking about possible clubs you could join as well.
I want to believe that they’re asking if you know what you’re getting yourself into. Chicago is definately a school like no other.

my answer to this question was ~6 sentences and it was good enough to merit my acceptance. You can touch on all these things in a few sentences, they’re not expecting a dissertation (but hey, if you want to do that…go for it).
