Why Davis?

I’m applying to a bunch of the UCs for computer engineering. To any Davis engineers, what makes UC Davis engineering special? Any little stories or anecdotes will suffice. I don’t really know, just give me your thoughts on why I should go to Davis as apposed to UCLA. Thanks.

If you get into UCLA you should go there unless you get a free ride at UC Davis.

UC Davis is still an awesome university, but for the price I would go to UCLA. Also, internships are probably easier (and more abundant) to get around the Los Angeles/Orange County area.

People still get free rides to UCs?

You can get a full scholarship for your undergraduate degree if your family income is less than $60,000.
