<p>then they chance each other.</p>

<p>If poster #1 and #2 know so much about those elite schools, why don’t the chance themselves and do not post any chance threads?</p>

<p>I totally understand what you mean. I just think it is nice to have a fresh opinion from someone else you don’t know.</p>

<p>I suppose they just want other people’s opinions. Not that it should mean that much because “chances” shouldn’t influence a decision about which colleges to apply to, but it’s really just a fun game, and to see how impressive your “stats” seem.</p>
