<p>As I found myself pondering for half an hour about what I should put down as my favorite movie, I wondered why it even mattered in the first place. </p>
<p>I know this is a dorky question, but does it have a certain effect on admissions? Do they try and humanize the applicants instead of treating them like numbers?</p>
<p>In my opinion, the time spent reading and laughing at/responding to the Fun Facts section could be allotted to spend an extra 20-30 seconds on each essay. Although that may be torture for extremely bored admissions officers.</p>
