Why do I have this feeling I want to take the ACT again..

Maybe some of you have noticed already haha… You’ve probably seen it lately how I’ve been bragging on how I went from a 23 to a 28. I’ve just been so happy that I improved so much and got a good score. I really don’t want to take it again, but I know I could have done better and there is this little voice inside me saying, “Get 30 or higher!” I kind of want to but not really… I just don’t know man. I am happy with the 28 and now I just want to achieve my dreams I want to become a varsity runner in cross country and do great in sports this year and achieve unbelieveable things but I just can’t get that thought of doing better on the act out of my mind… I want to go into the medical field and become a doctor; is this 28 good enough? Running is a huge passion of mine though… I can’t live without it. I don’t really want to spend a good couple months studying and getting like a 34 or something but then not achieving my true dreams… :frowning: Advice?

My sis is taking premed classes and her highest ACT was 28 so yeeeeeea u can do it. Don’t expect on becoming an olympic runner though lol

I’m in an exact same situation as you. I bumped my scores up from 23 to 28! But I am very very disappointed in myself because I quit my favorite sports, soccer, and took time to study (about 5months) and still got 28, ONLY. I’m hoping to get 30+ on the next text in September since it’ll be my last one before I send them to colleges. Good luck to you man!
