<p>Actually, I think it’s kind of endearing when my cat snuggles up against me, particularly when I have a cold or otherwise don’t feel well. I think companion animals have an amazing ability to discern and respond to feelings of illness or loneliness in humans. There are lots of studies that have shown that single adults whose only companion is a cat or dog live longer lives on average than single adults who live alone.</p>
<p>I wouldn’t call it cute if mine slept on me…that’d be terribly uncomfortable, and I’m pretty sure he’d end up getting pushed off onto the floor.</p>
