why do so many asian girls pose for the camera with the "peace sign?"

<p>It’s not just Asian girls. Basically everyone I know with a myspace takes pictures with the peace sign and/or that weird pouty-lips-and-looking-upward pose.</p>

<p>I know a lot of non-Asian girls who take pictures with the peace sign and then post the pictures on Facebook under the label “Asian(s) haha!” or something along those lines.</p>

<p>Go out and I’m sure one of your friends has a camera ready to whip out when you’re doing something stupid, funny, or for the hell of it.</p>

<p>Oy vey… the peace sign thing is just an import from Japan and Asia in general. Everyone in Japan does it in every single picture. Most Japanese believe that it came from GIs during the occupation. Other theories exist, but I tend to think that’s the most logical…</p>

<p>I have pictures of myself doing almost everything, even picking my nose (I wasn’t actually doing that :D) but never the peace sign. but I have a habit of tilting my head to the left in alot of the photos…idk why…</p>
