Hello, I’m currently a high school senior interested in applying to Pitt 2016. I have a couple questions, targeted mainly at students interested in Medicine or something along those lines. 1) Why did you choose Pitt? 2) What is the campus life like currently? 3) What do you enjoy the most about Pitt? 4) What science courses have you taken thus far? 5) Would you say that the courses prepare you well for the MCAT? 6) What is the Pitt community like? Friendly? Diverse?
Sorry if I have to many questions but just just want to have an insight into what Pitt has to offer.
@falsenoob, I would strongly encourage you to visit Pitt and take a tour with a Pitt Pathfinder (one of our current students). They will be able to answer many of these questions for you while showing you around campus and helping you get a feel for life at Pitt. (oafa.pitt.edu/visit)
You can also follow @H2Pian on Twitter/Instagram. Ian is a pre-med student and a member of Pitt Student Voices, a group of students in the Pitt Admissions Office who post about day-to-day life at Pitt and answer any questions prospective students may have. You can check out his Twitter and Instagram feed from last semester now, if you want. Right now he is on summer break, but he will be checking and posting from those accounts again once classes start in the fall.
