I study because I feel like a bum if I don’t :O

What up Holden~

ZOMG. Holden Caulfield!~
I study because I have to do so in order to meet admission requirements for more schooling (i.e. college then later graduate school). I don’t necessarily study for looking spiff for adcoms. I think I study to educate myself so I have the proper knowlege to become an authority in whatever field I want to go into later in life.

IMO. are most NH schools 2nd chance schools? I think my friend goes to one. She’s a straight A student there, vs. she was a straight C/D student in my school until she transferred out. lol. Also apparently the kiddies in her school can’t spell words like cool or teacher correctly.

I like competing with others in my class. I also enjoy learning some of the subjects (excluding chemistry).

studying to prepare myself for college and real life. Studying and learning new things expands your mind and makes you smarter in things like out-of-box and critical thinking which is pretty crucial for real life.

and studying to get into a BA/MD program, full scholarship (unfortunately my money doesnt grow on trees) , become a doctor and save lives, and make my parents proud (to an extent).

i study hard becuase I don’t believe in doing anything less than my very best

If I don’t study hard, I say ‘what if’ and ‘why not’ for the rest of my life…

For me, the question would be, “Why DON’T you study hard?”

And my answer:
Because I don’t have to.

I do just fine and I’m perfectly happy with my 3.9/4.0 without studying, thanks. I don’t feel the need to kill myself just to get a few extra points on a test just to get into x college so I can do y with my life, and if I don’t get into x college, I’m an obvious failure. Don’t get me wrong, I love to learn. I do my homework, I pay attention in class, I research a lot of things online to enhance my knowledge. I don’t feel the need to spend time going over my notes when I know that I either know it, or don’t and if I don’t know it, well then… sucks for me, but it’s not the end of the world.

to survive.

to save money in college. i plan on getting a full ride, and then going to med school with a national program that lets you work off your debt for a few years after med school. why accrue debt?

Because I want to have a good job when I grow up.

I don’t. I only studied hard my junior year for physics class to prevent from getting a C (ick science) and for AP tests junior year. Not this year though. Senioritis '08! Best thing in the world

Really…I am a good time manager. I don’t need to study hard to get good grades. Study soft…party hard!

But I do like learning.
