Having Class Day under a temporarily set up tent is like having a class in a temporary classroom set up in a trailer.

Class Day should be held in Levien Gym, the home court of our proud Lions.

I disagree. More people go to the lawns than go to Levien. We’re just not a terribly sports-oriented school.

I am not against doing it outdoor, but if they want to do it outdoor, at least do it like the University Commencement, and don’t use a tent. It’s like having a career fair instead of a more formal ceremony.

What’s funny is that they have the graduates sit under one tent, and have parents and guests sit under another tent with TV screens showing the activity. It’s hard to view the ceremony when the tent and poles obstruct the view. It’s just not a very good viewing experience for guests.
