Why does everyone seem to ignore how hard it is to get into grad school?

Agree that it varies on the program. My friend’s kid applied three weeks ago to a masters in management at U Chicago and got in. Maybe it was easier continuing on (since already at U Chicago as an art major). But not a lot of business experience, so I found that interesting. I think the one-year masters can be pretty straightforward for admissions if the gpa is high enough.

A school that is highly selective for undergrad might not be nearly as selective for a masters. It depends on the program/career.
