<p>Do you mean the headshot request? This is common for theatre admissions. It is something you’ll take to the audition along with your artistic resume. My guess is that the photos are used during the review process after auditions are complete, when they are making decisions as to offers. Thus, the reason for making sure that your photo, whether it’s a professional headshot or a personally taken photo in your backyard, is representative of how you look at the time of your audition.</p>
