<p>It’s unfair though to say how UCLA is not even the top 3 uni in the state because as far as I am concerned, California education institutions bring shame to the rest of this country. Name one school outside of California, and there is pretty much an equivalent or better within California.</p>

<p>Quick Examples</p>

<p>Harvard Law or Business ---->SCU Law, Stanford. Haas, USC, among others…
Engineering ----> Cal, Cal Tech, Stanford need I say more lol. </p>

<p>So top 3 is a bit concise. I think UCLA stands up pretty well considering it’s company in this state, and that speaks volumes.</p>

<p>That is one way to look at it. However, most graduates stay in-state, so they are competing with people from, mostly other California schools, such as cal, CIT, and Stanford. Thus, being perceived as “worse.”</p>

<p>This is also the dumbest statement that I’ve ever heard. A no-name LAC is better than a top UC!!! LOL … Go ask somebody around you to see if they know anything about that Ponoma college.</p>

<p>Haha, if you want to spend 4 years preaching for peace and equality while wearing goodwill clothes because it’s a “good cause” while your parents drop 45k for tuition go ahead. There’s a reason most phD types come from lacs and most b-school/med/law types come from normal uni’s.</p>
