Why does UCLA suck?

tell that to hillary clinton and barack obama.

Logic isn’t your strongpoint is it? Neither is arguing :)…good luck with that law career ;)

Allrite…So you do trust that ranking. hmmm How many of those rankings do exist? Hundreds??? Thousands??? How do you know which one to trust?

Okay…Just stick with that “prestige” ranking for the rest of your life.

P/S: Dartmouth is ranked higher than MIT/Columbia/Caltech…YEP. Nice !!!

good luck at being in debt all your life ;)

I like how nyu is all of a sudden a top 30 school, while vanderbilt slipped to 39.

Did those LAC give you full scholarship covering all of your expense? I mean everything!!!

if you plan on going to law school you can join me on the debt train…

Whether the ranking is credential or not, it seems that UCLA still beats Pomona in anyway
and this is based on the source provided by someone who claims Pomona’s better than UCLA.

pwnd kthnxbb~

By the way, any ranking that claims Claremont McKenna is more prestigious than Pomona deserves no credential in anyway. That’s basically saying UCLA is more prestigious than UC Berkeley, the flagship school of UC (which I won’t deny)

pomona was just an example. There were OTHER schools mentioned, which did beat ucla.

These same rankings have schools like vandy ranked 39, and dart… better then MIT, and NYU at 26!

LAC’s often have few research opportunities and few world renound professors. Also, they focus much more on Liberal Arts (hence the name) and students who wish to go into professions such as med/biz are often at a disadvantage.

All this negative talk about UCLA hasn’t changed my mind a tad bit, I’m still die hard for my school.

im sorry, but here in cali everyone holds nyu at a higher plate than ucla.

Maybe you shoulda gotten into a good school then instead of complainin about how you couldn’t hack it and had to settle

i did get into MANY good schools.

well then you’re obviously no good at picking a school…

I sense someone who is extremely insecure??

Everyone??? I really doubt that. I talked to many people who graduated from Davis, Berkeley or SJ State and they don’t even know WTH NYU or even USC is. But all those people DO know and respect UCLA

usc? what is wrong with your friends? LOL!!!

usc is in cali, there must be something wrong here if they dont know about usc (the #1 football school in the country)

Who cares if they are #1 team. Not everyone’s watching college football and in Bay Area, we love Giants more than anything else.

Sorry dude…in Bay area USC holds ZERO prestige.

mojo obviously only hangs out with people who moved to Cali from the East Coast only a few weeks ago. Not that there’s anything wrong with it, but to use them as a representative sample for the entire Californians is beyond excusable.
