<p>Many people avoid classes on Fridays (especially afternoon) to have longer weekends or to go home.</p>
<p>no idea. I just went with the bandwagon. :)</p>
<p>I personally prefer to be more busy at the start of the week, and then wind down. It’s nice to have Friday afternoons free to run errands and whatnot.</p>
<p>For the same reason rush hour is earlier on Fridays. By Friday, everyone is fed up with the work/school week and they just want to get to the weekend ASAP.</p>
