Why don't schools just lower the price?

“So, they just stick to As in every class. It is not that difficult. The ones who slip just do not try hard enough”

Right. I’ll just tell my daughter that she’s not trying hard enough if she gets a B in Calc II after studying for the final for 4 days, or if despite going to office hours and study groups and begging for help, she doesn’t get an A on her paper. That will make her feel great.

If everyone got all A’s wouldn’t they be meaningless? Wouldn’t everyone get into med school then?
