I think that Bill and Hillary have a true affection and respect for each other. I think they decided long ago they were going to support each others careers through thick and thin.
And I think Tipper and Al also are “separated”, but not officially divorced, though living apart and seeing others.
I thought Hillary would leave Bill after she was elected to the Senate and bought a house in Georgetown. Although I did wonder after the picture of her dancing with Bill in a bathing suit was published. I can’t believe that the picture was set up. What middle-aged woman would agree to be photographed in a bathing suit, FROM BEHIND???
I think Hillary looks great. And the pantsuits make a lot of sense given the demands of running for office. I have very slender ankles, they didn’t even swell when I was pregnant (OBs commented on this). And (not to brag) I had the title of “best legs” in my sorority. And my lower legs are the only part that hasn’t deteriorated with age. In her place I would absolutely wear pantsuits. Comfortable, no worries about skirts blowing up or slipping up.
I wish Huma Abedin hadn’t married that sicko. Even before the deviant behavior was public, he was a loudmouth do-nothing. Good at giving rabble-rousing speeches, not at anything else.

Never mind why Hillary has not left Bill, the bigger question in my mind, why has Camille (Cosby) not left her Bill? I read today in the NY Post that she has always been aware of his cheating - but still does not believe the allegations of drugging and raping women. She remains by his side.

This is totally not our business. Maybe they had “a deal” during those years, and all he did wrong was allow it to come out? We don’t know. I’m not a fan of either, but as 2 human beings, they seem nice enough. Maybe he makes her laugh? I think he has mellowed and that crazy stuff is behind him. And she is more mellow.
Who are we to judge a couple for not getting a divorce?

I can’t understand that all. There is nothing appealing about that man whatsoever, especially after Weinergate. I don’t know how you cope with that kind of humiliation. And didn’t he supposedly go to “rehab” for a bit, and then start doing it again?
That Camille Cosby article turns my stomach. How would she “know” that the women her serial philandering husband cheated on her with “consented” to sex and drugs? Blowing the BS whistle and shaking my head at blaming the victims. Its disgusting all the way around.
Bill is quite rich (55 millions, according to CNN.) If Hillary divorces him, she would receive a lot of money.
I think we should give Hillary some “credit” when she knew in her young years that Bill could “hit big” and followed him to the south. If she was really that smart, she would have known she had to deal with his “wowen issue” in their marriage life.
A “problem” that Hillary needed to deal with all her life: In the “hot” scale from 1 to 10, with 10 being the hottest, Bill may be closer to 10 than to 1. JFK had the same “issue” but it seems Reagan did not.
Marry someone whose look is more like Truman (or Nickson?). It could save a lot of troubles because fewer other women may be attracted to him.
But how many women would choose someone whose look is like Truman if they could get someone whose look is like JFK, Reagan or Bill? (especially during the ovulation period when they are more influenced by the force of “evolution” if you believe such a force exists?)
The same could be said about men: Do not marry a woman who is too “hot” in the eyes of other men.
Eww. Now we are rating the “hotness” of presidents and others? This has clearly jumped the shark. That said, Clinton’s looks are not at all appealing to most. But he is charming. There is a huge difference.

I think Hillary would have known what she was getting into when she chose to marry him.
Which one is less “mellow”? JFK or Bill when they were the same age? I think JFK beat Bill by a long shot. That is, Bill is “milder” as a womanizer. (Lewisky? JFK would likely not go for her. He was after a movie star.)
I have found that we can not use our ideals of marriage to judge others. Everyone’s marriages are based on a set of compromises that are best for them. Some people truly believe in, “until death do us part”.
I also think Chelsea always factored Into their equation. I don’t think there is anyone who would dispute how much they both love her, so If they would otherwise work out a manageable arrangement, why upset it when they could both maintain a comfortable family situation and not cause angst and disruption to Chelsea and the grand baby.

IMO, womanizing doesnt get a rating of mild, moderate or severe. Its all bad. And no guarantee any spouse knows this about their partner before they marry.

I knew someone who knew one of the Kennedy brothers. He said they used to play spin the bottle in the White House over who was going to have sex with who. Sounded more like Animal House than the White House.

In one of the accusations against Cosby, one of the women ( who was relatively young) was in retrospect very disturbed that Camille was present, & then just disappeared, as if this was a routine.
( the young woman had been reportedly drugged)
She doesn’t even claim that she tried to stop it.
On the otherhand, you would have to have been on the moon for the last 30 years, not to be aware of Bill Clintons reputation, however accurate.
I also agree that he seems to be very charming, and is very interested in others.
