Why Huff Post is ridiculously entertaining

The headline

The story

Although nobody who could claim to be a journalist will ever be hired at that garbage of a company, the Huff Post must really scrape the bottom of the barrel to find such comedians. To his credit, that Jeffrey Young has mastered the art of the misleading punctuation!

I like to go to huffelpuff for a daily giggle. If you read the snappy comments made by readers which follow most articles, it gives a clear picture of the target audience.

Huffelpuff? Harry potter anyone?

Sorry i had too -giggle-

Well, they have a lot of celebrity soft-porn, if you don’t agree with their politics

One headline said something like “Grandma dooped into growing pot by bearded stranger.”

Comments were so critical of the headline that they finally corrected it later.

Another one of my favorites: “Jim Brown killed John Jones in robbery.” When you read the article, it was actually John Jones who killed Jim Brown. Nice.

Picky, picky, picky. At least they got the names right … or did they?

Huff post is one shot short of Stewart and Colbert for me…but sometimes not as hilarious…

Take it with a grain of salt…entertaining

The analysis is obvious. Because a crook gave money to the tea party all members of the tea party are crooks. After all, Bernie Madoff gave $25000 to a Democratic Senatorial campaign just before was found out and from this act we know that all Democrats are crooks. Given that former Republican Senator Craig tapped his foot in the men’s room, all Republicans are secretly gay. At least that is how things are in Huff land.

Sidebar -Andrew Breitbart, who I believe helped Adriana Huffington start the Huff post (I am guessing before he swung from left to right, so to speak), died today at 43. Ok, back to your regularly scheduled analyses.

You have to wonder.

I used to check it out fairly often, most often for the entertainment news. But the pages took sooo loooong to load on my laptop, I gave up on the site.
