Why I distrust the collective experts

They can’t even get a simple recession forecast right a few months in advance and with the wind of 1000 pundits and media at their backs. This is a minor miracle.

"The U.S. Commerce Department reported today that the U.S. economy grew at a revised 0.9% annual rate in the first quarter, slightly better than previously thought because of lower demand for foreign goods and services and a pickup in non-residential building.

A month ago, the department estimated that the gross domestic product, which measures the total output of goods and services within the country, grew at a 0.6% rate."

Lots of US goods going overseas due to the weak dollar.

And lots of foreign investment into the US, including buying what is seen as undervalued real estate. Ain’t it great?? So what if they have to raise the price of a BMW or French wines, or gas. It’s all good in the long run.
