<p>For essay’s that ask why you want to go to a certain school, what should I say?
I am working on an essay for Tulane, and I am trying to explain how I would utilize their programs/experiences/opportunities to better myself and be set up for my future life. Is this the right idea?
Also, this may sound kind of dumb, but when writing to a school, should you refer to the school in the second or third person?</p>
<p>I think third person is pretty standard for this situation.</p>
<p>The key is to be specific to the school. Use specific student orgs, programs, opportunities that that school offers that is unparalleled by other places. Explain how you will succeed in those environments.</p>
