Why is a Certain BS NOT a FIT for you?

Gonnastop, When are you gonnastop taking weekends off? You need to work hard to get into BS. It’s not a party, ya know. :D

I’m gonna stop talking to you, right now.

Btw, how do you call…the mental disease…about having multiple personalities?? We call it personality-split here, or something like spirit-split.

me chinese no mao.

Back to the thread topic: Why is a Certain BS NOT a FIT for you?

Please post why you considered a certain BS not a fit for you. Please include as much detail as possible from your visits/revisits experience.

e.g. Format:

Andover: Too large, Too liberal
Exeter: Too competitive, Too large, Not strong in arts
Deerfield: Middle of nowhere (not city/town), too preppy

LOL…this is absolutely hilarious.

what’s ironic is Pulsar insisting last year that he didn’t want to go to a school that was not in a city and this year he got accepted to Hotchkiss and Deerfield - both in rather rural locations.
@circlemidnight, you are a little wicked for bumping this old thread :)

@whattheheck-I didn’t try to bring it up because of the irony. I just thought that the pettiness of the argument was absolutely hilarious.

Loomis- too many day students, seemed like a suitcase school.
Exeter- Seemed cold. Not in the physical sense. I went on a saturday though, and wish I had gone a different day because other than that it was a beautiful school.
Hotchkiss- too far in the middle of nowhere.

circlemidnight,

As someone new to College Confidential, I am fascinated by how this particular blogger has transformed her boarding school application disappointments into a long-running reality show.

It is sad that she or he has continued to make regrettable comments about certain individuals and one prep school in particular. It is also unfortunate that she or he misuses the anonymity this forum provides to engage in what some might call cyber-bullying.

Nevertheless, I wish this blogger well. Hopefully, she or he will soon recognize that disappointments are an inexorable part of life.

Circlemidnight, WhatTheHeck: I forget it’s Donald Trump or Periwinkle who said “If life deals you lemons you make lemonade.” :D

@jmilton-Welcome to CC!. I hope you don’t think all of us are ■■■■■■ or something.

@pulsar15-Well, don’t be so mad about it. I’m not calling you a ■■■■■ or anything. I just thought the entire convo was funny.

Pulsar…I’m sooooo curious…what have you decided for next year?

I know what pulsar has already decided next year - he will continue to post here as how much joy his data analysis has already brought to so many. :D

I doubt we’ll see anything on the matriculation thread, except under another handle. ;)

Hmm, which handle could that be?
geekandproudofit (Deerfield) or Hockeymom18’s D (Hotchkiss)? – you gotta be kidding!

Are pulsar15 and pulsar the same person?

@ hootoo Yes, I am relatively new to the board, but I have no idea why you would drag me in to whatever arguments you have with another person on this board. It does not take much to imagine more than one person might be interested in talking about Hotchkiss. In the future, please leave me out of your suppositions and allegations.

Sorry, hockeymom18. You just said it all and proved you are not pulsar. Thanks.
Yikes, one more post count for hootoo :D

hootoo,

Do you know what logorrhea means? If not, I will give you a hint. It is pronounced like diarrhea and refers to a comparable phenomenon involving speech. Look it up. You may learn something.

jmilton, who are you - a Catholic priest with too much spare time? Run, now back to the NBA playoff games.
