I like UpMagic’s post.

Maybe you guys just have the support that you need or everything is going the way you planned in life. But it’s okay, the rest of us will figure something out one day.

Why are there so many people attacking Cal on the Cal forum? >_>

Midterm season. Always happens. That and Cal needs some change but will likely never happen.

Ankur Luthra became valedictorian while double-majoring in EECS and Haas, so anything is possible if you actually try hard enough.

How many valedictorians are there for a graduating class…?
And yeah, I have 3 quizzes/midterms just this week. Very, very fun.

Only one. 10 char

^ Just like my one last midterm tomorrow (5th one yet!) and then done until Finals :D.

I had to.

Is there more than one valedictorian per undergrad class? I don’t go to Berkeley so maybe you can enlighten me. :D

Or if you are crazy enough.

said the man who thought he could fly.

It’s intriguing; as of late I’ve only heard bad things about Cal.

So apparently there is one valedictorian per college. My bad.

But the person awarded the University Medal is considered the SOLE valedictorian of the whole graduating class.

university medal gets pretty subjective after they weed out all the people with less than a 3.97 cumulative gpa.

Dang. I guess the rest of us just aren’t trying hard enough.

last years univ medalist was a soc major, don’t get bogged down on yourself, IWCY.

It’s still an extremely prestigious honor though. :D

^ One of this year’s Nobel Prize winners in economics was a University Medalist.
