why is berkeley so cheap?

<p>and cal day is jammed into one day. ONE friggin day with many different activities going on at the same time. you gotta choose which activites you’ll miss out on. </p>

<p>and unfortunately for me, on a day I’m supposed to have another nonpostponable trip.</p>

<p>Berkeley isn’t “cheap.” It has to use its limited resources.</p>

<p>Now, unless you want to let Prop 13 die, pay higher taxes, etc. then you can yap about rejection letters and one day activities. Until then, Berkeley has to allocate its resources carefully.</p>

<p>Perhaps some students would stay for two days for some Cal Day activities, but most don’t even stay the whole day. I know that there’s a ridiculous amount going on during Cal Day, but I don’t know if it would make mose sense to spread it out into two.</p>
