At another college forum we had an argument over whether or not engineering is harder than comerce.

Someone had said that graduation rates for commerce is lower than that of engineering. He provided no reference. Yet nor could I find any reference other than anecdotes that engineering is truly harder than business.

Can someone help me find say differences in gpa, grad rates and etc…

grad rates aren’t really useful since they’re dependent upon the entering student demographic.

I don’t know much about commerce, but given the two programs’ reputations it’d be pretty hard to argue that commerce is even close to the same level of difficulty. engineering has a higher courseload, labs, much heavier assignment load (supposedly), and is comparable to the physical sciences in terms of conceptual difficulty.

if I didn’t have 6 assignments every week that each take 4 hours, 10 hours of labs per week, etc. I’d be a much happier student.
