Why is it so expansive to get a tutor at UNC?

<p>um…that’s for professional tutors, i think. there’s also a peer tutoring service that i’m pretty sure is free (the tutors get course credit for it).</p>

<p>Yeah, there’s free peer tutoring at least twice a week for those subjects and a lot of others.</p>

<p>$20/hour for a tutor is a good deal IMHO</p>

<p>I was wondering because I tutor students in Arabic and Portuguese at my school’s Modern Language Dep. and the department pay the tutors minimum wage.</p>
