Why is LSA cheaper than the other schools?

Aren’t they all University of Michigan?

When you start classes, and have one in the Dennison building, and another on North Campus or in the Ross building, you’ll understand.

Cause lsa suxxxxxxxx!

I have yet to have a class in Dennison. Literally all my classes except one poli sci lecture and my language classes have been in Haven. I guess I lucked out. :D

^I don’t know where that is, but it can’t be as nice as the Ross building, and I would doubt it’s as nice as a lot of the class rooms on North.

Oh I know it isn’t as nice as Ross, that wasn’t my point. It is in the Angell Hall complex, straight off the diag-- I’ve also had classes in mason too but they are right there anyway, but that’s beside the point. I was just remarking on the fact that I have only set foot in like three buildings on this whole campus. Kind of weird!

because you have to pay for labs/materials if your in engineering. I don’t know about ross.

The main reason is Engineering has much more need for additional computers, software, lab equipment, etc. Much more expensive to fund a major-design course with a huge lab component than say, Econ 101.
