...why is Math1B (or math 1a for that matter) more difficult on campus than for FPF

…students. Like, I know someone who is FPF taking math1a (i’m taking it too, but i’m not fpf) and she aced her midterm (she told me they didn’t really cover that much too). I thought I aced mine but I ended up getting a 70…(yes, I don’t know the curve, but still…I thought I got atleast an 80%+.

It isn’t fair lol…like she is doing pre-med, I’m doing pre-med, but her class is way easier than mine. Meh.

Whatever, I have to tough it out…and I heard math1b is incredibly difficult too lol.

Stop laughing out loud so often- you’re being a nuisance to your roommate.

lol who are you

lol (10 chars, lol)

that’s why some people take pre-med classes at Community College. FPF is basically community college.

not really, FPF is through UC Berkeley Extension. Extension grades transfer over through to the UC GPA. FPF courses are viewed by the outside world as equivalent to general campus courses.

Some classes are easier in FPF, some are harder. It averages out. The Math professors aren’t necessarily the same each year, so some years you might have a hard prof in FPF and an easy one on campus (and vice versa)
