<p>So there are 49 questions I believe for the English Section of the SAT, but on the website it has the individual score for multiple choice out of 80 points? Can someone explain how this works please?</p>
<p>You get a raw score out of 49, which is converted to a score out of 80. And then that score and your essay score are combined to come up with a score out of 800. Kinda confusing…</p>
<p>@crystal19 Right but how is the score converted to the 20-80 scale? Is it just straight up 80 divided by 49 multiplied by your raw score or what?</p>
