Sorry, just frustrated. I’m in centreville right now, and I wanted to move to another unit within centreville, but because of the scholars program restrictions, I can’t. It just seems like with all the living-learning programs and allowing people to do unit moves first, unless you’re moving in a group with someone with a really good number you kind of get screwed. If you could change the housing system, how would you?

D has been crazy lucky the last couple of years, with ridiculously low numbers. The thing is, she hasn’t needed them, because she interviewed and was accepted into the Language House this year, and will also be there next year. I said that it was too bad you couldn’t trade your numbers!! (or, sell them !!! – which I’m sure is why they don’t allow it!!!) It was a shame to see such low numbers get passed over!

With so many people and so few beds, I don’t know how to make it better.

Cambridge Community is really weird because of the College Park Scholars restrictions; the system is much less complicated for the rest of campus.

I think the housing system as it is is as fair as it can be at this point.

Unfortunately UMD has become enormous and never built more dorms. It stinks for your housing, but remember a lot of people would give up a dorm to get the Scholars citation!
