Why isn't B.C. listed on CC?

Okay, fellow CCers, why isn’t Boston College listed under top colleges on the CC Colleges top forums list? Surely, it receives enough applications in general and hits on this site in particular.

it how good the school is (academically) according to CC and not based on applications and hits.

There are some schools that are comparable to BC on there though, like Georgetown, Vanderbilt, and Notre Dame

Dear anniev : Actually, I have been wondering the same thing for several months now.

If they list BC, then they should also list USC, NYU, URochester, UIUC, UWisc, UCSD, etc.
If they list BC they’d have to list several others to thereby defying the very purpose of having a separate section for CC Top Colleges

I realize that there are many other schools that are on the same level as BC, but what about other schools like NYU, USC, Wake Forest, Tufts, University of Rochester, etc. The list goes on. Simply put, although BC’s academic curriculum stacks up well against the other schools, BC is just slightly weaker.

Why isn’t it? Because frankly it’s irrelevant. We have too many good colleges in the U.S. to be cramped in a little list. Personally, I think St.John’s College is better than most of the top CC liberal arts coleges, but I don’t lose sleep over it.
