Why isn't there a section for AP scores in the Stats Profiles?

You can list them on the common app, why are they not included in chance or decision threads??

Because they don’t influence chances/decisions.

^ Really!!! That’s news to me. Not influential at all???

Yeah…it goes by rigor of course load. The only reason it could affect is if you got A’s in a bunch of AP classes and 1’s on AP Exams. But even then, they can’t judge you that much.

They do help sometimes. Like, I heard of this one girl who took 20+ AP tests (4 or 5 on all) and also got into every college she applied to (several Ivy leagues, stanford, MIT, some more). Of course, correlation doesn’t imply causation, but her stats weren’t that impressive otherwise (4.0, many AP courses of course… but not great ECs), and I don’t believe it was her essays either…
of course that was a few years ago, but now there are more people who do that

since you put them on the common app, of course colleges see it, so it’s silly to think it doesn’t affect your chances of getting in. even your race affects it for crying out loud
