What are the major things I should add? I have a couple of ideas: professors, programs, clubs and such, city, etc. But what else?

Why even apply?

WOuldn’t NW be a “bust”?

Yeah, that was stupid, I know.

atmosphere at NWU!

that WAS corny sr6622 :D

It is the best school in IL

you need to make it personal. if you visited, talk about that, talk about your tour, etc. also, be specific about what you can contribute. it shouldn’t be about why NU is good in general, but why it’s good for you.

Worrrrrd to juliusmonkey. Generic “NU is great, so many clubs!” essays are not what they want…they want to know why YOU want NU and why it would be a good fit. Be specific and personal! It would be hard for anyone here to help you with this question.

Exactly. The more specific to you and your interests/experiences, the better. They want to know why NU fits you like a glove, not what they’re a “good school.” They know all that already. They make whole big brochures about it.

be honest…do “try” to write something interesting…write why u truly want to attend NU…

Obviously, this is one of the best response NU received last year. Don’t feel like you have to give something at least as good. The point is to give you an example of how a successful applicant approached it creatively and differently.

You guys have answered almost every single one of my threads and have given some awesome advice on each and every one of them. I really do appreciate it

Ah, I hope I get into NU.
