Stoplights! You applied for Tisch drama too? How’d your audition go?

It was good, I think! Singing and dancing were eh… so I’m glad that I checked the box saying I’d like to be considered for straight acting as well as MT! The acting portion went well; the guy was really friendly, and he had me do my first monologue again with “props” (a water bottle, my binder, and a chair). He was also the guy who interviewed me after my initial audition, and that went well, too. Overall, the whole thing felt very relaxed and positive.

And yourself?

I think I did really well! I applied for just acting, and I was the first one to go! The auditor REALLY seemed to like my work! So much that she just watched me act the whole time of my audition. She said she didn’t even need to interview me—which I hope is a REALLY good sign! Our GPA’s are about the same, and so are our test scores—except the ACT, which I got a 31 on… A 34 is AMAZING by the way—but honestly, I think it comes down to talent. I hope I see you at Tisch this fall! Let me know how you do!
