officer’s proposal as they walk out smiling. Who says prospective college enrollees - or those who plan on switching schools - can’t post their info in an online “exchange” or marketplace where schools interested in recruiting you send you their proposals (i.e., offers of grants, scholarships, housing allowances, etc.)? Many don’t know it, but there are at least a thousand colleges who can’t fill their seats but are in fact good schools. These colleges would, I think, bend over backwards to get you to enroll. Would you post your info - no personally identifiable data of course - and consider offers you recive from colleges?

Really, really interesting idea. In some ways, an applicant can already do this if they strategize it.
The colleges that cannot fill their seats are the ones that are hurting for money and need students who can pay, not students needing FA.
