I’m very interested in film studies and screenwritig. So, what makes NYU betters than colleges in California? I’m just interested in learning about the film studies and screenwriting programs.

We took our daughter to USC, BU, Chapman, Emerson, Wesleyan, UCLA, NYU, and Florida State, all for film. She applied ED1 to the film program at NYU Tisch; she decided she wanted to be able to double major, wanter an urban setting, and she also decided that California wasn’t where she wanted to be in college. All of the programs I listed are good, UCLA’s program requires an application at the end of the sophomore year. FSU’s application was October 15 for film, but they admit 10 transfers at the start if the sophomore year. NYU is thought of as a Sundance oriented program, vs. USC and Chapman as Hollywood programs, but I hear that USC is broader than what some people say.
