why do people transfer from williams? what do people consider to be the best/worst aspects? what’s the typical student like? what’s the vibe?

Not many people transfer. The graduation rate is between 95 and 96 percent.

The best aspects: sense of community, active social life, diverse political viepoints and personalities, the mountains, professors

The worst: it’s rural (this never bothered me), I wasn’t crazy about the food.

The food is excellent in comparison to most other schools. It’s at least palatable.

But yeah, it’s VERY rural. I went there for the Previews and felt a strong family vibe. I don’t think there’s a “typical” Williams stereotype anymore… personalities/interests are vastly diverse although the majority is white.

I won’t be going there in the fall however.

It’s a gorgeous campus though.

efflugent, why aren’t you going to be attending and where will you go instead?

I think she’s going to Brown… Yes???
