<p>If you’re referring to the comparison between Princeton and Harvard or another school which does EA instead of ED, its because ED is obviously binding and, thus, shows extreme dedication to the school.</p>

<p>If you’re talking about Princeton compared to other ED schools, maybe they factor interest more heavily than other schools.</p>
