<p>I was thinking about RD to stanford but as i looked at the essays i realized that i can’t really recycle my old essays. So i’m worrying why i’m applying to stanford. At first i just thought the CA weather would be good. Anyone have a convincing reason for applying to stanford? I’m a prospective history, chem major</p>

<p>lol no i genuinely want to know the school. i’ve visited my other schools but i live on the east coast so haven’t visited Stanford. So i’m just curious. I didn’t say i didn’t want to apply btw. I said i began questioning whether i should apply. u don’t have to be grumpy geez man</p>

<p>Well, I’m a freshman and so far I’ve been having a blast at college while a lot of my friends at other schools are pretty “eh” about it. If that helps =) Stanford just makes me happy everyday, the profs are great, people are really nice, REALLY smart, and all have interesting lives, and it’s soooo pretty.</p>
<p>anyways i’m not here to argue with u.
So what’s a good reason to apply to Stanford?
Any exceptional professors that i can research on in the history or math department?</p>
