Today I talked to a kid I knew from a couple years back. I asked him what he is planning on doing for college and he told me he got a full ride at Amherst. (He is a sophomore). I asked him how he got that. He said he got a 224 on the PSAT. Now, this kid as far as I or any of my friends can remember is fairly average. And I mean seriously average. He got Bs and Cs throught middle school and freshman year. If you talked to him, you would understand that he is not that smart. So now I’m debating whether I should believe him or not. Btw he goes to a boarding school where there might have been cheating going on so IDK. But still if he got that score, the SAT must mean nothing

From my understanding, the Sophomore PSAT is not recognized by colleges.

I scored a 228 and 2340 during my junior year, a year in which I got all B’s and C’s – at a lousy public school.

Grades only determine how much you give a crap about school.
