As the title states above, my school requires me to put why I chose them in 200 characters or less. Please suggest things I should put, i.e. location, curriculum, etc.
Well, it’s hard to know without knowing the school but this question seems like something other people can’t really help you on. Why did you choose the school? There is some reason that the school appealed to you and you decided to invest so much time and energy into applying. There isn’t a magic answer for this question- the school asks because they genuinely want to know.
The best advice I was given when having to answer this response was to be specific as possible. Ie list the names of specific classes, teachers/professors, clubs, programs etc. that made this school appeal to you specifically. Schools use the “why us” question to see if you’ve really done the research about the school you are applying to.
