<p>College interviewers seem to always ask the above question to the prospective student who is being interviewed. So, why WashU?</p>
<p>um, cos it’s awesome.
The people are unbelievably friendly. Academics of the best schools without the competitive atmosphere. Great location, gorgeous campus. Take care of their undergrads. Easy to double major or take classes in the other schools. Good food. It’s not Florida.
That’s what did it for me.</p>
<p>plus, their financial aid policy (allowing you to keep outside scholarships without detracting from your university scholarship) is awesome</p>
<p>They actually care about undergraduate education…I chose WashU over Northwestern because I hear at Northwestern the administration treats you like a number.</p>
