<p>Do you know any schools which use ONLY “Why this school?” essay topic for <em>supplement</em> application (ex: Vassar)? The “Topic of your choice” is okay (I dont count the essay in Common Application)?

<p>That’s the only additional essay option on Swarthmore’s supplement. The other essays are the big common app open-choice topic and the short answer question from the common app on most meaningful EC.</p>
<p>Swarthmore not only asks the why question, but weights it heavily in admissions considerations.</p>
