<p>Just try to answer the question: why do you really want to go to Yale? What does Yale have for you that no other school on your list has. I thought it was difficult at first, but when you distill things down to their essence, it is not so hard to do. I wrote two sentences: one about my major choice and how Yale would satisfy it in a way other schools can’t. Another about my love for the arts and Yale’s obviously fantastic arts environment. It was actually a relief not to have to write a lengthy “Why Yale” essay - I was able to convey it in 295 characters.</p>
