<p>D2 just returned from a semester away studying in London. She looked at several options and ended up going through a university based program (although not the school where she is enrolled).</p>
<p>When she travellled to Rome for the weekend and got robbed at her hostel (they got her camera, clothing, glasses, passport, everything!), we were able to contact the Italian office of her program, who got in touch with her and offered any support she needed.</p>
<p>When her flight was delayed out of Loindon and she had to stay for several more days after the semester ended, the London office was able to provide housing for free while other people were either paying for expensive hotels or bunking down on the floor at Heathrow.</p>
<p>Well worth the cost, in our opinion. While the first several weeks went off without a hitch, the problems she encountered in the last week and a half were well worth having the infrastructure available.</p>
