Just wondering how many Wisconsinites will be at the Milwaukee Nominations Nov. 3 for Senator Kohl and Feingold. For all others, any tips on making a good impression so that I can be remembered? I believe there are a lot of candidates, and I want to make sure they remember me in the pool of candidates, I have the early morning interviews. I have an LOA, and I really would appreciate a nomination as early as 3 November 2007. Otherwise, I will have to wait and see if I get nominated by my MOC on 15 December 2007. And what do you suggest doing if I get nervous and my mind goes blank? Ask them to repeat the question?

Hi, inhibitor,

I’ve started a new thread regarding interviewing tips. Hopefully, others will also add their ideas.

If the nomination process is anything like Florida’s, they’ll interview on one day and take several weeks to decide on nominations. Our 2 senators compare lists so they don’t overlap candidates. Be prepared to wait. They’ll give you a timeline at the time of the interview. Of course, each state and MOCs have their own way of doing things.

Good Luck.
