I took the SAT II Maths 2, Physics, and Chemistry in October, got pretty good scores, but now I begin to forget. Because I don’t want to be dismissed from college, I have to revise them.

But if I begin to forget, I question how good the SAT IIs are ? They will measure the performance on a Saturday, and tell nothing about students’ future performance ?

I will apply to undergraduate class of '13, so if I apply in 2008, will my 2007 score be considered ? I notice that some American students even take the SAT II in 10th grade.

I took some SAT II’s in 10th grade and yes, these will be considered on teh college application, and yes, colleges do want them… I know it’s really dumb to just measure your performance on a saturday, but it gives colleges a benchmark to measure you against students from other schools because they don’t know how hard the chemistry program, etc. is at your school.

Yes, I know they will consider the SAT, but I am wondering about the validity of the SAT IIs if someone can get 800 on the test simply by cramming in one week, and then begin to forget.

They’ll definitely be considered a year later. Like you said, many American students take SAT ii’s in 10th grade and they count two years later.
