Will 4 years at a community college affect my chances in anyway?

I’m currently attending De anza college in cupertino, and its my 3rd year. My plan was to transfer to a UC preferably UCLA but it’ll probably take me 3.5 years to complete all of the required courses, and since UC apps are due once a year, id have to wait about 2 quarters to reapply after I finish all my classes. Im wondering if It will affect my decisions since I would be already done with all the course with nothing left to take.

Here is what I have left:

1 quarter of calculus
1 quarter of diff eq.
1quarter of linear algebra
3 quarters of physics
2 quarters of general chem
2-3 quarters of CIS/programming

current GPA: 3.44 Cumulative

Yes its very overwhelming considering the fact that I already spent 2 years in CC and my GPA is slowly going down to a 3.0
=[ is there hope?

edit: MY major is Mech. Engr

They don’t care how long you spend at a CC.

Not your question but… a 3.4 and declining is highly unlikely to get you into UCLA for Mech Eng.

Take a look at the TAG program, pick a campus that participates and lists an achievable GPA as its threshold. UCD is just 3.3 and would be a great target.

Four years at a CC won’t affect your acceptance, but it might with your financial aid. I believe they go by units you have accumulated aside from what they usually calculate their aid by.
