Will a B-/ senior yr. grades get you rejected?

I am applying regular decision to Yale and I’m guessing that they will look closely at my senior year first semester grades, so I am wondering how much do these midyear grades actually count. I have had three Bs before, but if during senior year I haven’t improved, can I pretty much expect to be rejected?

i want to know the same thing. So, please help :)

No.

Grades are important, but one B- certainly does not reflect on your work ethic as a student, or who you are as a person. Keep in mind that your activities and things outside of school also weigh very heavily on the decision that is made for you. In short, no, one B will certainly not hurt you. Don’t worry!
